RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
The Group's R&D department has always been attentive to the search for the most innovative processing technologies, with dedicated and qualified staff and equipped internal laboratories.
Analysis on new products, development of production processes, technical customer care, cooperation with machinery manufacturers are only a few of its activities.
The testing Lab has been developed to support the production and commercial activities as well as to support the customers.
The Laboratory is currently equipped to perform:
- Tensile test at room temperature
- Impact test at room temperature up to -50 °C
- Hardness test (HB, HRB, HRC, HV)
- Simulation of some heat treatments
- Magnetic characterization

For the metallographic activity the Lab. can rely on new modern equipment
- Stereo-microscope for micrographic analysis
- Optical microscope for macrographic analysis
- Cutting machine and mounting-press for metallographic samples
- Polishing machine for metallographic samples
Thanks to its equipment,

- Microstructure definition
- Failure analysis
- Grain size
- Decarburation depth
