Trafilix Industries at MECSPE – THE Reference EXHIBITION for the manufacturing industry – receives the “Sustainable Process” award
The award is linked to the Company's participation in the Mecspe initiative "Sustainability Goal Path", aimed at giving visibility and rewarding exhibitors who have undertaken a concrete and interesting "Sustainability Path". An increasingly central theme in corporate strategies, considered an absolute priority by eight out of ten SMEs.
Each exhibitor had a chance to present their sustainable path to the commission, which selected and provided a "Special Plaque" to all those who met the requirements of a "sustainable company". On Friday 8 March at the Arena of the Service Center - Mecspe Lab, the THREE companies judged as the most virtuous within each single established category were chosen and awarded::
- “Sustainability goal” category
- “ Sustainable product” category
- “Sustainable process” category
Trafilix Spa has been awarded as best company in the “Sustainable process” category.
The reasons concerned both the interventions carried out by TRAFILIX in the energy field and the measures adopted in the production sector for the safety of personnel and for the recovery of processing residues.

Trafilix Industries booth at Bologna MECSPE focused attention on two aspects that reflect the company values:
• The Steel Industry, synonymous with passion for steel which has guided the company for fifty years, providing high quality and production efficiency.
• The Sustainability, a concept which embraces issues such as environmental protection, people's well-being and shared value over time.
Thanks The core business and all the relevant data, was displayed on the walls of the stand, within a hexagonal grid, faithful reproduction of the shapes of the company logo, while the photographic frames, columns and wooden elements brought back to concepts of transformation of matter, intended as the life cycle of steel and work materials coming from the recovery of manufacturing processes.
