Establishing a direct relationship with its stakeholders, in a logic of collaboration and listening, must be a central aspect for every company that undertakes a path of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The stakeholder engagement, thanks to the sharing of experiences, can strengthen competitiveness on the market, contribute to the innovation of service-processes and improve the sustainability of strategic decisions inside and outside the company, establishing a common growth network.

For this purpose, Trafilix Industries and the distribution unit Comet Acciai of the Lucefin Group organized a day dedicated to Brescia customers in the arms sector, divided into two training moments: a conference held in the events space in Darfo Boario Terme (BS) and a visit to the production plants.

The conference “Materials and treatments for the arms sector”, held by Prof. Marco V. Boniardi (Dipartimento di Meccanica – Politecnico di Milano), addressed topics such as the use of ballistic simulators, terminal ballistics tests, forensic analyzes on GSR, weapons and metallurgy and stress intensifications (conventional rifling vs. polygonal rifling). The precise and technical questions of the participants generated a proactive climate and a constructive dialogue between professionals from which to draw inspiration for innovating their business.
