PRESENTATION "Steel metallurgy - Part Two"
Ten years to tell, study, investigate, and test steel.
It is the time it took to complete the trilogy of volumes, completed with the publication "Steel metallurgy – part two” which completes a first publication and a book dedicated to stainless steels.
Inside the Politecnico di Milano, in a sold out room - almost 500 people - the authors Marco Boniardi and Andrea Casaroli presented a book that is the result of the synergy with TRAFILIX the production division of Gruppo LUCEFIN, a leading industrial company and a point of reference in the production and distribution of steel.
A volume that closes a trilogy of publications. A path that has been able to illustrate the main foundations of metallurgy which not only becomes a compendium for students during their university education, but which fulfills, with great completeness, the role of a valuable manual for steel industry insiders, with useful insights in the field of mechanical tests of traction, hardness and classification systems for construction steels and general purpose steels.
Among descriptions, diagrams, processes, analyzes, technical data sheets, regulations and color illustrations, more than 500, the volume also contains one of the great passions cultivated over the years by Gruppo LUCEFIN: photography and love for art.
An approach that has made the communication of the Group identifiable, cadencing the rhythms of industrial narration with author's shots and artistic paths able to tell, with a style that is now recognizable.
Also in the latest publication presented at the Milan Polytechnic, steel becomes the favorite subject immortalized by the analytical eye of Massimo Sperto and Nino Martignano able to give life to snapshots that portray steel in the shade of a chiaroscuro or in the liveliness of vibrant shades and colors.
