STEELS FOR CHROME-PLATING
The production cycle for this family of steels is as follows:
- quality control of raw material
- peeling and reeling of bars
- precision grinding in preparation for chrome-plating
- chrome-plating with integrated system in galvanic baths, with electric current reversal to optimise the bond and the compactness of the chromium layer
- final finishing and polishing
- final testing
- packaging and delivery
The most commonly used diameters range from 15 mm to 160 mm, with the most common size being diam. 25 mm.
