In the first part of 2022, the national and international market of special steels suffered a constant condition of tension, resulting from high energy prices, lack of materials, record prices reached by steel products and growing financial pressure. 

The latter are complex and at the same time insidious aspects for companies that with difficulty monitor and manage the situation and their activities from a predictive and action point of view.

The Italian sector of long special steels today is increasingly wondering about the short and medium term future of its sector, asking itself the following questions: 

“What will happen after the summer break?

What are the prospects for consumption? 

In what direction will prices move?

Starting from these questions, analysts and protagonists of the sector will discuss in the Webinar «Special steels: the challenges of the market» organized by Siderweb.

The appointment will open with an analysis by Achille Fornasini (Partner & Chief Analyst siderweb) on the “dynamics and prospects of the prices of steel raw materials and finished products in special steels”.
